Benefits for Joining the Greater Scott County Chamber of Commerce 

Monthly Newsletter – Serves as a vital link between the Chamber members and the community. This is a very effective tool for promoting you business or organization.

Low Cost Group Health Insurance – Southern Indiana Health Organization (SIHO) is open to all Chamber members.  It is sold through local agents who are also Chamber members.

Long Term Care Insurance – CNA Insurance Companies provide discounts to Chamber members.

Business Insurance – Membership in the Chamber qualifies you for a 10% discount on your business insurance.

Advertisement – All new members receive 6 months free advertisement in the Chamber Exchange Newsletter.  Additional advertisement can be purchased at a minimum of $10 per month.

Networking Opportunities – Your Chamber provides numerous opportunities for networking:  summer picnics, after-hours social times, Third House Session, Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, open houses, and ribbon cuttings.

Link with Southern Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) – Council and guidance for starting a new business or upgrading a current business.

Scholarship Fund – Five dollars from each membership dues renewal goes to this fund to support two students per year with a $500 scholarship.  Applicants must be Chamber members, the child of a Chamber member, or recommended by a Chamber member.

County Host and Referral Center – We make it our privilege to refer and recommend any business opportunities to our members.
